James A. Jacques of Overland Park, age 77, passed away Friday, August 27, 2021.
He is survived by the love of his life, Carroll Kellerman Jacques. Just last week they celebrated 58 years of marriage. Jim graduated from Wichita State University and had a successful career as a Certified Public Accountant. Of his many accomplishments he was most proud of his roles as husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
He is survived by four children, Carrie (Tom) Grinter, Jamie (Angie) Jacques, Richelle (John) Johansen, and Shandan Magee. Nine grandchildren, Kellen (Cory) Johnson, Zachary (Praew) Grinter, Austin (Cassie) Grinter, Riley Magee, Chloe Jacques, Amanda Johansen, Juliette Jacques, Jake Johansen, and Miranda Jacques. Four great grandchildren, Addy, Trip, Evy, and Grace.
He will be missed on the golf courses and bowling lanes, around the bridge and poker tables, at Sunday family breakfasts and…everyday!
Graveside service will be held Friday at 10AM at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Overland Park, Kansas.
