James T. Howard, Jr.
James T. Howard, 62, Olathe, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2006 at home after courageously battling ALS.
Jim was born March. 24, 1944 in KCMO to James T. and Maxine Howard who preceded him in death. He is survived by daughter Laura Howard and grandson Christian Howard of Lubbock, TX, brother and sister-in-law Rick and Carmin Howard, Olathe, many relatives and friends. Jim had a kind and caring way that was second to none, always putting others first, and making sure friendships were everlasting.
Jim graduated from Washburn University in 1968 where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta. He served in the U.S. Army Reserve. Jim spent most of his adult life in Denver working in the telecommunications industry.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to MDA/ALS Division, 15301 W. 87th St. Pkwy.,Shawnee Mission,KS 66219 or Keith Worthington Chapter of ALS, 6950 Squibb, Suite 210, Mission,KS 66202.
