James Hendrickson Jr.

Jim Hendrickson passed at the age of 85 on September 5th, 2024. He was survived by his loving wife, Diane, his sister Judy, his daughters Kerry King, Kelly Kapaska (Richard), Krissy Kull (Christian) as well as his grandchildren, Kerryn, Jim, Erin, Kayti, Quinn and great grandchildren, Maylee and Barrett.

Jim was born on July 31, 1939 to James (Bud) and Elma in Phillips, Texas. He attended Stanford University where he received his Engineering Degree and received his Master’s degree in Business Admin from UCLA. He met his wife, Diane, in Salt Lake City and they married September 14, 1963. They moved to California where all three of their daughters were born. He worked for IBM for 22 years, which moved his family to many different homes including Atlanta, Dallas, and Ridgefield, CT where he & Diane lived most of their life. He was passionate and successful with his career in the tech industry where he worked his way up to VP of Customer Service at many companies including IBM, Informix and Kofax.

Jim was fortunate to travel the world through work, but really enjoyed traveling with his wife and family. He loved a good debate with loved ones and to reminisce over telling fun stories.
