James Leonard Hamblin, 91, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2008, at Good Samaritan Nursing Center. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Nall Avenue Nazarene Church c/o Senior Adult Ministries, Prairie Village, KS.
Leonard was born November 3, 1916 to James and Gertrude Hamblin. He married Dorothy (who preceded him in death in 2005) November 14, 1945. He leaves six daughters, Marilyn Kay (Dennis) Fink, Karen (Brad) Thibodaux, Debbie (Dean) Ridgway, Darlene (Dick) Ripley, Pam (Carl) Morris, and Kim (Jeff) Godwin, 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren. He also leaves 4 brothers, Linville, Estell, Elvin, and Dennis; 2 sisters, Pauline and Nadene.
