James Fasching

James E. Fasching, 81, of Stilwell, KS passed away Wednesday August 24, 2011 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Cremation is planned. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Heartland ASPCA or St. Judes.
Jim was born December 24, 1929 in Lenexa, KS to Joseph and Mary Fasching. He was a truck driver for 45 years, retiring in 1994. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post #153 in Olathe, KS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Ralph and Cocky.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years Deanna Fasching of the home, Sons Joe Fasching (Kay) of Kansas City, KS, and David Fasching of Osawatomie, KS, Daughter Donna White (Terry) of Shawnee, KS. Brothers Carl and Francis (Brenda) Fasching both of Olathe, KS and a sister in law Virginia Fasching. 3 grandchildren, Carrie Huffman, Alexandra Fasching, Montana Fasching, step grandchildren Mary Dickinson and family and David Banks and family and a great granddaughter Zoey Huffman.
