James Farley

James D. Farley, 56 passed away unexpectedly Sunday November 26th at his home in Memphis, MI. Jim was born in Kansas City, MO July 31st 1950 and graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Jim married Jeanne in Omaha in 1971 and over the years raised 3 children, Jim, Christy and Michael. From 1982 through 2000 Jim worked in various capacities throughout the U.S (Minneapolis, MN, Corning, NY & Detroit, MI) for Corning Consumer Products, wrapping up his career in 2003 as K-Mart's National Account Manager for World Kitchen in Detroit.

"Bones" loved all things boating, the friendships, marina life, sunsets, parties and mostly his Chris Craft. Growing up around the Lake of the Ozarks his passion and his boats followed Jim and his family to many locales. "Bones" welcomed all aboard with a smile.

Preceding Jim in death was his father T.A. Farley Jr. and Saraphine, a beautiful grand-daughter. Jim is survived by his wife Jeanne of the home, 3 children, Jim Jr. of Minneapolis, MN, Christy (Patrick) Finan, Omaha, NE and Mike (Nanette) of Detroit, MI., 6 grandchildren, his mother, Katie Farley of Gravois Mills, MO, 1 sister Kathleen (Michael) Engstrom of Kansas City, MO and 2 brothers of Olathe, KS, Kevin (Hallie) and Thomas A Farley 3rd. The family suggests flowers or memorials to the American Diabetes Association.
