Jack William Coatney, precious baby boy of William & Jessica (Anning) Coatney was born into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center in Overland Park, KS. He weighed 6.06 pounds, 20.5 inches long. Although Jack's life was short, his story is one of love, faith & hope. His mommy & daddy, along with his big sister Paige made sure he knew how much he was loved. Our sweet angel Jack will never be forgotten.
He was greeted in Heaven by his maternal great grandfather, Donald Anning, paternal great grandfather & grandmother, Homer and Dorothy Coatney, and maternal great grandfather & grandmother, Bob and Marilyn Sampson.
Jack's life was sacred and his memory will be honored by his family in service to others. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his big sister, Paige; maternal grandparents – Chris Anning of Mission, KS and Jennifer Anning of Overland Park, KS; paternal grandparents – Tom and Julie Coatney of Olathe, KS. Great grandmother – Jacqueline Anning; great grandmother - Lucille Chambers; great grandfather – Norman Chambers(Michelle Chambers); Uncles Nick Anning, Adam Coatney and Aaron Coatney; Aunt Sarah Jenkins(Uncle Jeff Jenkins) and precious cousin Jeffery Jenkins. He has a large, loving extended family including many great aunts, uncles and cousins, along with great, great aunts and uncles.
From the bottom of their hearts, Will and Jessica would like to express how forever grateful they are for the outpouring of love, compassion and support during this very sad, difficult time.
A private memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, Mission, KS with interment to follow alongside his great grandpa, Don.
