Jake Chambers, 44, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away on August 23, 2023. Born on July 31, 1979, in Kansas City, Missouri, Jake was a beloved son, father, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Jake, also known as Jack Chambers, had a serious yet fun-loving nature and a great sense of humor. He had a passion for computer science and engineering, which he pursued throughout his career. Jake attended Tomahawk Elementary School and later graduated from Olathe East High School. He furthered his education at the University of Kansas, where he honed his skills in his chosen field, earning a Masters of Science in Computer Engineering.
Jake had a close-knit family, including his mother, Nell Chambers; his children, Will and Ellie; his sister, Karen Yount; and his brother-in-law, Joey Yount. He also leaves numerous nieces and nephews. His many childhood, school, college friends, and special friend, Lisa Koch, will sorely miss him.
Aldersgate United Methodist Church held a special place in Jake's heart. He found solace and community within its walls. A memorial service to celebrate Jake's life will be held on September 1, 2023.
