Isla M. Radford

Isla M. (Facklam) Radford, 79, of Overland Park, KS, passed away at her home Wednesday, February 18, 2009. In lieu flowers the family suggests contributions to Abdallah Shrine, 5300 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS 66202 or to the church.

Isla was born March 9, 1929 in Stotesbury, Missouri to Arthur E and Margaret M. Facklam (who preceded her in death). She was a 1947 graduate of Fort Scott High School. She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company until her marriage to James E. Radford for the past 59 years. Along with being a homemaker she was a beautician in her home for many years. She was a member of the Washington Study Club, U.M.W. (United Methodist Women).

She is also preceded in death by five brothers, and one sister.

She is survived by her husband James, daughters; Linda (Don) Best and Shirley (Bob) Reed, sister; Ruth Clark, grandchildren; Douglas, Deanna, Amy and Austin, 5 great grandchildren.
