IRENE H. ROWDEN
Age 88, went home to be with the Lord on December 21, 2010 at her home in Olathe. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 26 at 6:00 pm at the Liberty Christian Life Center, 572 E. Park Street, Olathe, where the family will receive friends an hour prior to service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Liberty Christian Life Center.
Irene was born June 15, 1922 in Urbana, MO to Hanna and Lillie Harmon. She went on to become a Special Education teacher and taught in both Gardner and Shawnee Mission School Districts. Irene was a faithful supporter of the ministry at Liberty Christian Life Center, and will be missed by her friends at nightly dinner and competitors at the game table.
She is survived by her son Harry (Sharon ) Clymore, seven brothers and sisters, step-son Gary (Candy) Rowden, fourteen grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Clymore and her husband Lendall Rowden.
Irene's family wishes to thank Emilee and Tarin Peet for their loving care to the very end.
