IDA MAE MEDLIN
Age 91, passed away September 10, 2008 in Olathe, KS. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 12 at 1:00 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 S. Blackbob Rd, Olathe, with visitation an hour prior to service time. Interment to follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Olathe.
Ida was born November 13, 1916 in Quick City, MO to Edgar and Nora Jones. She married Jasper Medlin in 1933, and together they made their home in the Spring Hill/Bucyrus area. She was a long-time member of Faith Baptist Church in Olathe, and was employed as a seamstress with several local garment factories. She retired from Dazey Products, devoting her time to her family, her church, and traveling.
She is survived by her sons Frank( Peggy) Medlin, and George (Geneva) Medlin, her sister Helen (Joe) Pinkley, nine grandchildren, and many cherished great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper, and six brothers, three sisters, and her grand-son, Lewis.
