Hildred G. Snedegar

Hildred G. Snedegar, 90, of Overland Park, KS, passed away December 8, 2016. She was born March 14, 1926 to Ellet and Catherine (Fleshman) Judy near Rainelle, WV. Hildred married Donald Ray Snedegar on September 8, 1943 and moved to Ballwin, MO as he began his TWA career. They enjoyed traveling around the world throughout his career and upon retirement, traveled extensively throughout the U.S.

Hildred was a charter chapter member of the Three Trails West chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and enjoyed her friends there. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and will be dearly missed by all. Hildred was preceded in death by her husband, Don, her parents, and her brothers, Ralph, Dana and Elliott. She is survived by her children, Vivian Mouser (Dan), James (Lynda), and Carol Edds (David), plus nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 Black Bob Road, Olathe, KS 66062, with visitation from 2-4 p.m. and a memorial service at 4 p.m.
