Helen Marie Capehart

HELEN MARIE COZAD CAPEHART, age 84, passed away February 3, 2013 in Olathe, KS.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Good Samaritan Nursing Home of Olathe, KS.
Helen Marie was born in Hamilton, MO on August 31, 1928 to Roy and Hazel Cozad. She graduated from the University of Texas Arlington, and married Kenneth O. Capehart on October 27, 1956.
She enjoyed raising her four children, and was active in the First Baptist Church of Arlington, TX.
She is survived by her children M'Rae (E.T.) Perry, Charles(Pam) Capehart, Stewart(Jamie) Capehart, and D'Ann Wright, grandchildren Aimee (Peter) Norton, Amanda Capehart, Randi (Sean) Worley, Lindsay Capehart, Daniel Capehart, Jennifer Capehart and Brandon Wright. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth O. Capehart, in 1999, and her parents. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her world, and they will dearly miss her.
Helen was a resident of Good Samaritan Nursing Home for the past two-and-a-half years, and she developed deep friendships with other residents and the staff who cared for her. She participated in the Red Hat Society, bingo, and sewed several quilts for the battered women's shelter. Helen Marie's family wishes to thank the staff of Good Samaritan Nursing Home for their kind, loving, and professional expertise given to their mother over the past few years.
