HELEN MARIE JULIEN, age 94, passed away August 8, 2011 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Olathe, KS.
Helen was born on August 19, 1916 in Michigan to Ford and Nettie Miller. In 1935, she married Edward DePue, and they had four children: Patricia, Kathleen, Carolyn and James. In 1967, Helen married Rev. Walter Julien. They moved to Olathe, KS in 1995 and were married for 33 years before Walter's passing in 2000.
Throughout her life, Helen valued her faith and her family above all else, and the manner in which she lived her life and cherished her children, grandchildren and great-great grandchildren was a testimony to these two principles.
Helen was preceded in passing by Edward DePue, Walter Julien and her brother Rev. Ford Miller, Jr. She is survived by her sister Janet Gibson, four children, 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to College Church of the Nazarene, 2030 E. Sheridan, Olathe, KS 66062.
