Helen Cunningham

HELEN L. CUNNINGHAM, age 83, passed away August 1, 2010 at her home in Olathe, KS. A memorial service will be held on August 6 at 10:00 am at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 S Blackbob Rd., Olathe, where the family will receive friends at 9:30 am. Interment, Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Parkinson's Foundation or to the Crossroads Hospice.

Helen was born June 5, 1927 in Kansas City, MO to A.E. and Florence Dugger. She was dedicated to caring for her family, and also enjoyed participating in her church, Church of the Brethren.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Raymond Cunningham, her children Carol Laundy, Craig Cunningham, Robin Blattner, and Scott Cunningham, grandchildren Kim, John, Tiffani, Nicholas, Brandon, and Sarah, and seven great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sister, Audrey and Joan, and one brother, Dale. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter Connie Cunningham, her brother, Earl, and sisters, Lois and Joyce.
