Harry D. Sharp

May 18, 1926 — September 29, 2015

Harry D. Sharp - also known as "Red" - was born in Glasco, KS, 3rd son of eight children to David & Blanche Sharp, who both predeceased him.

Red was a longtime Johnson County homebuilder and real estate developer. He attended high school at Shawnee Mission and the Cleveland Chiropractic College. A former member of KC Homebuilders Association and Abdallah Shrine, he also served in the U.S. Army.

He leaves his wife Brenda, to whom he was married for 44 years; step-daughter Angie (Bob Tunison); two grandsons, Mike (Senta) & Lawrence (Emily); and three precious little granddaughters: Clover, Hazel, & Olive.

Also surviving are two sisters, Ginger & Eileen; brother Larry together with nieces & nephews; & sister-in-law Sylvia MacGregor of Southwell, England.

Visitation at 9 am, Saturday, Oct. 3 at Valley View United Methodist Church. Memorial service at 9:30 am, followed by coffee in the reception hall. Interment at a later date.

Harry's family sincerely request no flowers, but contributions in his memory are welcome to a charity of choice.
