Harold Lee Sherk, 76, of Overland Park, KS (formerly of Lake of the Forest, Bonner Springs, KS) passed Saturday December 12, 2015.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Olathe Public Schools Foundation, Johnson County Community College Foundation or a charity of your choice.
Lee grew up in Kansas City, KS and graduated from Wyandotte High School. He also attended Wentworth Military College and Finley Engineering College. Lee was a "car guy" and enjoyed building and showing hot rods. Lee was an original member of the Rodtiques as well as several other local car clubs. He was also an avid NASCAR fan.
Lee also enjoyed time with his son, Kyle especially while he was involved in Boy Scouts attaining the rank of Eagle. He married his wife Gretchen in 1978 and retired from Owens-Corning Fiberglas in 1998.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Tracy Elizabeth.
He is survived by his wife Gretchen Sherk, sons; Kyle (Vanessa) of Denver, CO and Joseph Lee. Daughter; Danelle Denise of Kansas City, KS and his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
