HAL D. BRAY, JR.
Age, 69, passed away December 7, 2005 surrounded by his family in Olathe, KS. A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 11, from 5:00-7:00p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 S. Blackbob Rd., Olathe. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 12, at 11:00a.m. in the Olathe Memorial Cemetery. The family suggests remembrances to the National Emphysema Foundation

Hal was born on March 12, 1936 in Kansas City, MO to Hal and Margaret Bray. He was raised in the Kansas City area and attended Pittsburgh State University. He also served our country in the United States Army, returning to begin his 30 year career in management with The Sears and Roebuck Co. After leaving Sears, he enjoyed working in real estate sales with both Coldwell Bankers and the J.C. Nichols Co.
In his leisure time, Hal loved flying small aircraft, watching Jayhawk basketball, working at C & J Hardware in Olathe, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his children, Natalie (Kevin) Neal, Chad (Crystal) Bray and Brian (Marianne) Bray, his grandchildren Garrett Neal and Brandon Bray, his brother Robert (JoAnne) G. Bray. Hal is also survived by his children's mother, Marilyn J. Grant. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bruce D. Bray.
