H. Bruce Cardell

H. Bruce Cardell, 83, of Overland Park, KS passed away peacefully on November 19th, 2013 at Park Meadows Memory Care.
Bruce is survived by his children David B. Cardell, Karen S. Cardell, James A. Cardell (Mary) and William J. Cardell (Christy), as well as 5 grandchildren; Krista L. Gray, Kellie N. Engel, Madison A. Cardell, Matthew J Cardell and Michael R. Cardell, all residing in the Kansas City area. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Ruth A. Cardell, son Kenneth P. Cardell and daughter-in-law Connie A. Cardell.
Bruce was born in Troy, New York and spent his youth in Watervliet, New York. He spent his entire working career with the General Electric Corporation. He was an avid K.U. Basketball fan and enjoyed playing golf most of his life. Bruce loved the Lord and was a dedicated, loving father, husband and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A private family burial was held on November 22, 2013 at Johnson County Memorial Gardens in Overland Park, Kansas.
