Gregg D. Watson, 58, of Olathe, KS (Formerly of Wichita, KS and Rapid City, SD) went to be with the Lord Tues. Sep. 2, 2014.
Gregg was born in Pierre, South Dakota to Dean and Barbara Watson. He graduated from Stevens High School in Rapid City, SD in 1974. Gregg was a Pastoral Ministries graduate of Bartlesville Wesleyan College (now Oklahoma Wesleyan University) in Bartlesville, OK. He served as a Wesleyan pastor for over 34 years at churches in Fredonia and Wichita, KS; Gillette and Casper, WY; Tucson, AZ; and Bristol, Redfield, and Pierre, SD.
Gregg was preceded in death by his father O. Dean Watson (2010).
He is survived by his wife of 38 years Holly Watson (Olathe, KS); three sons, Jason Watson (Olathe KS), Joel Watson (Olathe, KS) and Jared Watson (Wichita, KS); two grandchildren, Ashlyn and Faye Watson (Olathe, KS); mother, Barbara Watson (Omaha, NE); sister Deanna McManigal (Omaha, NE), and numerous nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial fund contributions be made to: First Wesleyan Church (memo: Gregg Watson memorial fund).
