Glenda Kay Brandner

Glenda Kay Popejoy Brandner, 75, passed away on January 25, 2023, in Huntsville, Alabama. She graduated from Huntsville High School in 1965, attended the North Alabama College of Commerce, and then went to work as a secretary at the Olin Chemical Company. She and her family moved to Olathe, Kansas when her husband obtained a job with the Environmental Protection Agency. She became a homemaker and devoted her time to her family. After the death of her husband in 2022, Glenda returned to Huntsville.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Wolfgang Brandner; her son, Paul Michael Brandner; her father, Milton E. Popejoy, Jr.; and her stepfather, Gerald L. Turner.

Glenda is survived by her mother, Edith Hall Turner; sister, Linda Popejoy Cuddington; and brother, James Turner (Dawn).

A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, February 3, 2023, at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens in Olathe, Kansas.
