Gertrude Elizabeth Moll, 100, Olathe, Kansas, passed away, Wednesday, January 11, 2012. The family suggests contributions to the church or Good Samaritan Nursing Center.
Gertrude was born, on the family farm west of Olathe, Kansas, on September 3, 1911 and was a life long resident of Johnson County. She worked at the Bomber Plant during WWII, attended Rockhurst College for accounting, Safeway Administrative Offices, and the majority of her working career was with Transworld Airlines where she retired.
After retired she spent countless hours volunteering at St. Paul's Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Joseph & Teresa Moll, her siblings; Elmer (Roberta) Moll, Mary (Leo) Toplikar, Teresa (Ernest) Toplikar, Louise (Randall) Bird, and Joseph Moll, a nephew; Edward Moll.
Gertrude is survived by her sister; Martha Moll, sister-in-law; Marjorie Moll, nieces; Mary, Janice, Shirley, Suzie, and Carol, nephews; Eugene, Leo, Charles, Jim, John, Joe, John, and Daniel, and numerous great nieces and nephews.
