Geraldine B. Kneebone, 90, Olathe, KS, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2008 in Olathe, KS. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Kansas City Hospice.
Geraldine was born March 10, 1917 in Pittsburg, KS to Hector & Katherine Beard. She was married to Elmer Kneebone March of 1937. Elmer served as Sheriff of Crawford County several years before moving to Olathe, KS in 1961. She was a Loan Officer for Patron's Bank in Olathe for many years before she retired.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Kneebone 1987; son, James C. Kneebone 2005; brothers, Ralph & Carl Beard, and her parents.
She leaves, two sons, Gerald (Lenore) Kneebone of Olathe, KS and Ronald Kneebone of Albuquerque, NM; daughter-in-law, Suzanne Kneebone of Olathe, KS; 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and numerous friends at Good Samaritan Towers.
Geraldine was loved by everyone who knew her.
