GERALDINE MAE DUNLAP BOYD

She passed in the arms of her loving family on Wednesday, August 29, 2012. She was born August 18, 1931, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Fred Harvey Dunlap, Sr. and Dorothy Mae Spohn Dunlap. She graduated from Northeast High School and worked for Dodge Reports, Yearbook House and Gage and Tucker Law Firm. She was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Independence, Missouri.
She married Billy Boyd in 1972 and lived in Olathe, Kansas. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her mother, father and husband Bill and brother, Fred Harvey Dunlap, Jr.
Survivors include daughter Laurie Duffey, Blue Springs, MO; son Wade Chaloud, Paola, KS; stepdaughter Brenda Smith, Hillsdale, KS; stepson Steve Boyd, Paola, KS; grandchildren Jeremy and Tonia Duffey and great-grandchildren Noah, Braden, Carter and Adilynn Duffey; sister Donna Dean, Independence, MO; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 1:00pm at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 S Blackbob, Olathe, KS, where the family will receive friends an hour prior to service time.
