George W. Thompson Iii

George W. Thompson left this earth on December 25, 2020 in Olathe, KS where he resided with his daughter and son-in-law. He was born in Wausau, Wisconsin on February 17, 1937 to Audrey and George Thompson. He graduated from Cascia Hall in Tulsa and went on to attend TU as a Sigma Chi and graduate from OU. He married Barbara Thompson in 1959. His passion for photography lead to a lifetime of employment until he finally opened his own photo marketing company. He lived most of his life in Tulsa but his work took him to Dallas and Santa Fe. George enjoyed travel and found companionship with many dogs over the span of his life.
George is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughter Sabrina Hubert (Gary) of Olathe KS, son George Thompson Jr. of Tulsa OK, and granddaughter Aubrey Stacey (Kyle) of Coweta OK.
A private graveside ceremony will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Tulsa, OK at a date to be determined.
