George Robert "Bob" Sardou, 70, of Olathe, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at Olathe Medical Center.
Bob was born September 28, 1952, in Topeka, Kansas to George Freeman Sardou and Barbara L. Sardou.
He graduated from Topeka West High School in 1970 and graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in electrical engineering. He was actively working for Nova-Tech LLC in Lenexa, KS at the time of his death.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Bob is survived by his wife of 50 years Sharon Martin Sardou and son Brian M. Sardou. He is also survived by his sister Charlene Calhoon.
Bob loved his job, the people he worked with, his many dogs he adopted through the years, the most recently a beagle named Murray, and his place at the Lake of the Ozarks where he enjoyed fishing and relaxing.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 12th from 5 to 7 pm at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 S. Black Bob Rd, Olathe, KS. Burial will take place at a later date at Mount Hope Cemetery in Topeka, Kansas.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Great Plains SPCA, 5424 Antioch Dr., Merriam, KS 66202.
