Gary L. Green, 82, of Peoria, AZ, formerly of Olathe, KS, passed away on July 20, 2021.
He was born on September 8, 1938 to Orville and Thelma (Lindenmire) Green in Beloit, KS.
Gary worked as a mechanic for Roger's Manufacturing, Jacobsen Manufacturing and Toro Manufacturing, retiring in 2002.
On May 7th, 1961, he married Marilyn K. (Jones) and they made their home in Olathe Kansas.
He enjoyed bowling, fishing, watching baseball, football, basketball, and westerns. He loved garage sales and good food (especially biscuits and gravy, Long John Silvers fish and steak and homemade French fries)
Gary is survived by his children: Cindy (Bill) Perez Leawood, Ks, Gary W. Green Peoria, Arizona, and Melissa Hansen Culpepper Virginia, grandchildren: Brittany Perez, Tony (Erin)Perez, Tyler Green, Kegan(Krystal) Hansen, Conner(Whitney)Hansen, Kaylee Hansen and Keirah White. great-grandchildren: Aj, Jackson and Tristan Perez, Tessa and Nora Jackson and Kaylen Hansen.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn, in 1997.
There will be a private family celebration of life. A graveside service will take place on Saturday, August 21, 2021 11:00 am in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens .
