Gary Bernard Brinkeman, 64, Olathe, KS passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2008 in Kansas City, MO. The family suggests contributions to Kansas City Hospice House.
Gary lived in Olathe for many years after serving in the Marine Corps. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service 9 years ago.
He was a life member of the Earl Collier Post #153 of the American Legion and the VFW Post #2993 both in Olathe.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jacob & Helen Brinkema, and a sister Judy Stanhope
He leaves two brothers, Jack and Rick Brinkema of Waterloo, Iowa; two sisters, Mary Dinnebier and Janice Hanson of Waterloo, Iowa, special friend and companion Pat Fonseca of Olathe and her children Kevin and Kim, along with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
