GARRETT HUNSPERGER
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be given to The Incidentally Fund, in care of the Stanley Bank, Stanley, KS, a memorial fund established in Garrett's honor for the nursing staff of the Cancer Institute at St. Luke's Hospital.
Garrett found calm and serenity on a fishing boat, laughter and joy with his delinquent friends, love with his children and grandchildren, and the combination of them all with his adored Terry.
Garrett leaves his wife of 35 years, Terry, of Stilwell, KS, his sons Jim and Jaclyn Hunsperger of Gardner, KS and Jeff and Erica Hunsperger of Kansas City, MO, and Papa's darling and dedicated crew of grandchildren; Alix, Peyton, McKenzie, Ben, Gage, Jacob and Emma, his mother Marjorie Hunsperger of Raymore, MO, and his brother Robert Hunsperger of Blue Springs, MO.
Garrett cannot be summarized and defined in a paragraph. He was a man of honor, integrity, honesty, compassion, humor, and love. It was our privilege to be a part of his world. His life and his love for Terry set a new standard for us all.
