G. Ray Reglin

June 4, 1935 — December 17, 2012

G. Ray Reglin 77, of Olathe, Kansas, went to be with the Lord on December 17, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Society. Ray was born June 4, 1935 in Lansing, Michigan. His father was Floyd William Reglin and his mother was Ruth Evelyn Reglin, both of Lansing, Michigan. He was reared by his maternal grandparents, Lee and Blanche Scott. Ray, attended Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Religion in 1958, and a Bachelor of Science in Education in 1959. His graduate work consisted of a Masters of Arts in Counseling from Pasadena College, now Point Loma Nazarene University and a PhD in Professional Psychology from USIU San Diego, California. He pastored Nazarene churches in Michigan, Wisconsin, California, and Kansas. Ray is survived by his wife of 55 years, Anita Birchard Reglin; two sons, Russ Reglin and wife Debbie of Smithville, Missouri; Jeff Reglin and wife Lori of Overland Park, Kansas; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held January 5, 2013 at 11:00 am at the College Church of the Nazarene in Olathe, Kansas. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Nazarene Compassionate Ministries PO Box 410946 Kansas City, MO 64179.
