Franklin Allison Post, 87, of Shawnee, KS, passed away on October 24, 2021 at Brookdale College Square.
He was born on April 13, 1934 to Allison and Mable (Swanson) Post in Aurora, IL.
He served our country in the US Army for two years and after he was honorably discharged from service, he settled in Shawnee, KS.
Franklin was employed with the Sears Company for over 47 years, first in Packaging and Receiving, then with the Sales Department prior to his retirement.
On December 16, 1989, he married Linda Lea (Jones). They made their home in Olathe, KS for most of their married life and resided in Shawnee, KS for the past 7 years.
Frank attended College Church of the Nazarene, in Olathe, KS for many years.
He enjoyed camping, hiking, traveling, gardening, being with family, and of course his favorite food, chocolate.
Frank is survived by his wife Linda Post, daughter Hannah Post, and sons Warren and David Post. Additional survivors include his sister Janice Steffensen of Tulsa, OK and his brother Bob Post of Overland Park, KS.
He was preceded in death by his parents Allison and Mabel Post and his brother William R. Post.
