FRANK R. WORDEN
Frank R. Worden, 70, Williamsburg, KS (formerly Olathe, KS) passed away at Olathe Medical Center on Tuesday, March 29, 2005. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Stanley, KS.
Frank was born February 14, 1935 in Olathe, KS to Richard and Helen Worden. He was a 1953 graduate of Olathe High School. After high school Frank joined the U.S. Marine Corp. Frank married Shiela D. Dodson on September 2, 1956.
Frank farmed all his life on the family farmstead but also worked 30 years for General Motors retiring in 1994 and moved to a farm in Williamsburg, KS raising cattle.
He was a member of Anchor Lodge #10 of the Masonic Order, Sadana Chapter O.E.S. in Williamsburg, Williamsburg-Homewood Lions Club for 10 years, Spring Hill Lodge #56 of the Masonic Order, Kansas York Rite Ivanhoe Commandry, Abdallah Shrine Temple, Dwight Cowles American Legion Post in Overland Park, and Grace United Methodist Church in Olathe.
He was preceded in death by a son; Richard W. Worden in 1988.
He leaves his wife of 48 years; Shiela Worden, a son; Stephen Worden, and three sisters.
