Graveside services for Frank Richard Wilson, age 82 of Olathe, will be Wednesday, Mar 17, 2010 at 2:00 pm in the Olathe Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Olathe Chapel.
Frank passed away on Monday, Mar 15, 2010 at his residence in Olathe, KS. He was born on Aug 19, 1927 in Galena, Kansas to John Wilson and Mary Esther Wilson. He served our country in the US Navy, and then began his career as a radiology technician with St. Mary's Hospital, and then worked for Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, KS until his retirement in 2000.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Beverly Ann Wilson of Olathe, his children Chris (Teri) Wilson, Patricia(Mark) Lee, Steven Wilson, and Gregory Wilson, grandchildren; Brandon, Kelsey, Corey, Cortney, and great-grandson, Austin. He is also survived by his sister, Judy Douglas, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Joe, Woody, Eli and Pete, and his sisters Minera and Blanche.
