Frank Paul Florio, 78, of Olathe, KS passed away Wednesday, May 7th, 2014 at Good Samaritan Nursing Center. The family suggests contributions to Olathe Hospice 20333 W. 151st St. Suite 301 Olathe, KS 66061.
Frank was born July 25, 1935 in Jersey City, NJ to Nicholas and Mary Lucille Florio. He married Mary Horgan, Sept 15, 1956 and they moved to Olathe, KS in 1979 with their 5 children. He retired from Amoco Oil Co. in 1988. He served in the US Army at Ft. Dix, NJ from 1958-1964.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary in 2012, his parents, son Thomas Florio and grandson Hunter Ryburn.
He is survived by his brother Nicholas Florio and wife Judy of Michigan, his son Michael Florio and wife Sheila of Coral Springs, FL, daughters Kathleen Florio of Olathe, KS, Christine Lewis and husband Jim of Lee's Summit, MO and Teresa Ryburn and husband Jason of Olathe, KS. Grandchildren; Sarah and Matthew Lewis, Vincent, Layne and Lucas Ryburn and his brother in law Fr. Timothy Horgan of Toms River, NJ and nephew John Florio and wife Robyn of Plano, Texas.
