Frances Saunders

Frances L. Saunders stepped into the presence of her Lord on October 24, 2023. Frankie was born on March 17, 1941 to Glenn and Frances Losh in Olathe, Kansas.

She graduated from Olathe High School in 1959. Shortly after, she married the love of her life, Dave Saunders on May 16, 1959. Together they raised two children, Devi Mersch and Terry Saunders.

Frankie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed serving often as a volunteer at church throughout her years. She especially loved spending time with her family and took every opportunity to be with the ones who made her Nana, her grandchildren, Terryn Mersch and Taylor Mersch. Frankie had a servant's heart; she loved her Lord and she loved others well.

Frankie is preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Frances Losh, her sister, LaBurta Ann Losh and her son Terry Saunders. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Dave Saunders, her daughter, Devi Mersch, her son-in-law, Mark Mersch and her grandchildren, Terryn Mersch and Taylor Mersch.

Celebration of life services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Penwell-Gabel in Olathe, Kansas. Visitation will precede the memorial from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow with immediate family only at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, remembrances be made in the form of memorial contributions to
