FRANCES KELTNER, Age 77,
Passed away at home surrounded by her family on August 20, 2008. in Olathe, KS. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 23 at 11:00 a.m. in College Church of The Nazarene, Garrett Chapel, 2020 E. Sheridan, Olathe, KS. The family will receive friends an hour prior to service time. Interment, Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Kansas City, KS.
Frances was born September 12, 1930 in Providence, NC to Britt and Selena Davis. She married Vincent Keltner on December 6, 1953 in Dillon, SC. She was a dedicated wife and mother, devoting her life to caring for her children and husband.
For many years she was involved in furniture restoration, including chair caning and repairing wicker furniture. Frances and her husband, Vince, were also active within the His Fellowship Sunday School class at College Church of the Nazarene.
She cherished vacations with her family to the North Carolina Emerald Isle beaches, and will be greatly missed by those who loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Vincent, her children, Lynn (Rick) Martin and Mark (Debra) Keltner, grandchildren Kacy Lemert, Taylor Martin, Michael Keltner, and Megan Keltner. Also surviving are her sisters, Winnie Norton and Helen Green. She was preceded in death her brothers, C.W. Davis and Bernice Davis.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of Kansas City, or to the Missions Fund of College Church of the Nazarene.
