Frances Louise Dickerson

Frances Louise (Daughton) Dickerson, 95, of Overland Park, (formerly of Mt Ayr, Iowa) passed away on January 19, 2021.
She was born on July 4, 1925 to Frederick and Ethel (Edwards) Daughton at Grand River, IA.
Frances worked as an Insurance agent for Hicks and Associates Insurance for 30+ years.
On August 3rd, 1947, she married Evan Dickerson, and they made their home in Des Moines, IA, Norfolk and Scottsbluff, NE, and Olathe, KS.
She enjoyed playing bridge, playing the slots at the casino, and watching sports.
Frances is survived by her daughter, Marcia E Woodard (Chris), sons, Bradley J Dickerson, Randall K Dickerson (Christine), and Kelley B Dickerson (Carmen). Also surviving are her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother Donald Daughton and sister Margaret Horn.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Evan Dickerson, and sister Betty Irvine.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 21, 2021, 5:00-7:00 pm at Penwell-Gabel Olathe Chapel. Private graveside services will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mt Ayr, Iowa.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
