Flora "Flo" Ann Davis passed away August 18, 2013 in Lenexa, Kansas. She was born December 6, 1917 in Prelate, Saskatchewan, Canada to George and Odelia, Thome. As an infant, she immigrated with her parents to Portland, Oregon where she grew up and later met her future husband, the late Amos Tinsley "Ted" Davis, Jr. After a short courtship, they were married in 1941 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Lenexa, Kansas. After traveling around the country for many years, they made their home in Olathe, where they resided for 52 years.
Flo is survived by a sister and brother, Ann D'Angelo and Sebastian Thome, of Portland; her two sons and their wives, George(Dorothy) Davis and Amos Tinley (Joyce) Davis III; grandchildren, Rebecca Weaver, Timothy Davis, Michael Davis, Jennifer Wilson, Susan Harper, Anna Marie Cox, and Amy Oglesby, and ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Kansas Chapter of the National Federation for the Blind or Catholic Charities of Kansas Hospice.
