DONALD A. FAUGLID
Age 62, passed away unexpectedly on July 12, 2005 in Sioux Falls, SD while traveling on vacation. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 15, 2005 from 6:00-8:00pm in Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 S. Blackbob Rd., Olathe, KS, followed by a funeral service on Saturday, July 16 at 11:00a.m. , also in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment, Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Stanley, KS. The family suggests remembrances to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, or to the charity of your choice.
Donald was born on October 1, 1942 in Mayville, ND to Archie and Margaret Fauglid. Following college at Mayville State, he married and began his family. He later moved to Overland Park in 1978. Don retired from AVCO Financial Services after thirty-five years of service.
He is survived by his sons Steven D. Fauglid of Omaha, NE and Thomas J. (Tracy) Fauglid of Olathe, KS, his parents Margaret and Arne Aasland of Detroit Lakes, MN, his brother Gerald (Sue) Fauglid of Prineville, OR, four grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. Don was preceded in death by his father, Archie Fauglid, and his sister Margie Horner.
He will missed greatly by his friends and family, We Love You, Foggy!
