Ethel Marie Porter, 80, of Edwardsville, KS, passed away June 3, 2020. She was born on November 29, 1939, in Salina, KS to the late Earl (Hank) and Stella (Sally) Hankinson. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Arlene Hankinson who passed away at the age of 2, five years before Ethel's birth.
Ethel is survived by her husband of 34 years, Jim (JP) Porter; son, Chris Bell (McPherson, KS); daughter, Rita James and husband Dan (Bald Knob, AR); 2 granddaughters, Jenny Tarvin and husband Tyler (Judsonia, AR); Denise Pate and husband Jesse (Pangburn, AR); 4 grandsons, Ryan Bell and wife Brianne (Olathe, KS); Steven James and wife Elizabeth (Beebe, AR); Aaron Bell and wife Breeley (Salina, KS); Christopher (CB) Bell (Salina, KS); 10 great grandchildren, Rebecca Robinson, Joshua Tarvin, Ryder Reneau, Tyara Fritts, Chase Wachli, Bryson James, Olivia Bell, Oaklen Mai, Ava Bell, Onalie Bell; and 1 great great grandson, Tucker Robinson.
Ethel devoted her life to what was most important to her, her family and friends. She will be remembered and greatly missed by many.
