Erna Jean (Hanselmann) Hinkle, 89, died Thursday morning, October 25. She was born in Eustis, NE in 1929. She was a Life Master duplicate bridge player, devout Lutheran, and K-State and Royals fan. Survivors include her children Chuck (Liz) of Sugar Land, TX, Carter (Angela) of KC, MO, and Kathy of Olathe, KS; her grandchildren Fredric, Glenne, Grace, and RC; and nieces and nephews.
Her family will receive guests for a visitation from 6:00-8:00pm on Friday, November 2, 2018, at Penwell-Gabel's Olathe chapel. A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday at St. Marks Lutheran Church in Olathe. Burial will take place in Evergreen Memorial Park in Omaha, NE.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Metro Lutheran Ministry, 3031 Holmes Street, Kansas City, MO 64109.
