Emma Lou Ozbolt Fields, 90, of Olathe, passed away on December 31, 2016. She was born October 4, 1926 to Philip and Julia (Stimac) Ozbolt in Kansas City, KS.
Emma grew up in Kansas City, KS and attended Wyandotte High School. She was a Legal Secretary, Housewife and Secretary at Panhandle Eastern Pipeline. She also worked at Fields Florist with her husband of 68 years. She was a lifetime member of the Modern Twenties Club (High
School Sorority). She married Robert Thomas Fields on January 10, 1948.
Emma is survived by her children, Terri Lacey (Dave Preston), Jani Willis (Bill) and Robert Fields (Loree). She has 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. Fields on December 13, 2016; her parents, Philip and Julia Ozbolt, and siblings, Phillip Ozbolt, Tony Ozbolt (at Pearl Harbor), Olga Canterbury, Julia Paradise, and Mary Lyon.
The family will receive guests for a visitation on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 1-2 PM at Penwell Gabel Funeral Home in Olathe, followed by the memorial service at 2:00 PM.
