Elizabeth M. Jones

Elizabeth Jones passed away on November 4th, 2023, surrounded by family. Elizabeth was born on April 6th, 1956, in California to Thomas and Theresa Jones.

Elizabeth worked for many years as a medical records technician and liked to travel when she was able to with family and friends. Elizabeth (also known as Betty and BJ) enjoyed her time with friends and family and always had a great love for her four-legged furry friends. Some people may even say that BJ never met a cat she didn't like, however her relationship with God was her most treasured relationship.

Elizabeth leaves behind a brother Tom Jones, a brother Ed and wife Jodi Jones, Nephews Zach Jones and Nolan Jones, Nieces Skylar Jones and Ashley (Michael) Whitaker, Great Nephews Kashton and Hendrix Whitaker, great nieces Paisley and Berkley Whitaker, uncle Mike (Cary) Nava and their families, aunt Geraldine Eastman and her families. Also left behind are friends Kim, Mallorie, Barb, Darl, Michelle and many more not listed.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her father Thomas, her mother Theresa, a brother Glen, aunts, uncles and grandparents.

Celebration of life for Elizabeth will be Saturday November 11, 2023, from 10:00am - 12:00pm at the Olathe Health Resort. This will be a casual celebration. You are welcome to come anytime. A Chaplain will be attending the celebration and will be reading some scriptures to close out the celebration.

We will have index cards available so that anyone is welcome to write down messages to, thoughts or memories of Elizabeth (BJ), or they will also be able to be written in her Sign in Book. The index cards, the sign in book and her Bible will be placed with her Urn in her final resting place at Olathe Memorial Gardens.
