Eldon Miller

Eldon Lyle Miller, 84, of Olathe Kansas went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at the home of his daughter Barbara Owens. He was under the care of Catholic Community Hospice for COPD. The Family suggests contributions to the Catholic Community Hospice and/or the Grace United Methodist Church.
Eldon was born March 13, 1928 to Charles and Flora Miller of Covert , Kansas. Eldon was united in marriage to Margaret Louise Runzel for 65 years, before her passing. Together they raised six children. He was a devoted Father, Grand- Father, and Great Grand- Father. Eldon was the original "Culligan Man" of Olathe Ks. He left Culligan briefly to persue an interest as a milkman serving Olathe and Overland Park areas, only to return to Culligan to finish his career of, Fifty years, in 1993. His last years with Culligan were devoted to helping serve the Hospitals and Dialysis Centers in the greater KC area for Culligan of Olathe. He also was a past president of Olathe Jaycees. He served with the National Guard.
Eldon is survived by his children; Connie Miller (Dennis), Barbara Owens, Stephen Miller (Pamela), David Miller (Susan), Jerry Miller, and Karen Palmieri (Nick), sisters Betty Murphy (Darwin), and June Snyder, and brothers Edward Miller, and Robert Miller (Janet) 14 grand- children and 8 great grand-children.
