Elda's faith in God and her love for Him shone brightly to all who knew her. She was the last remaining charter member of Faith Baptist Church in Olathe, KS. One cannot recount the history of Faith Baptist Church without including Mrs. Elda Faught. She loved Faith Baptist Church, and was ever faithful and
involved in ministry. She was the first LTR (K-1) teacher for Faith Baptist School, and she was also the organizer and editor of Faith Baptist Church's "famous" 1974 cookbook where she chronicled the history of FBC. She was known as Mimi by her family and Grandma Faught by many in the church "adopted" by her. She was a beautiful godly woman who is perhaps best known for being a woman of prayer, a true prayer warrior who sought the face of God on behalf of her loved ones. We will never know of all the blessings and protection that have come because of her faithfulness to the Lord in prayer.
