Elayne Boucher

ELAYNE ZUCKERMAN BOUCHER, age 46, of Olathe, KS, entered into eternal rest on September 18, 2006 after a courageous six-month battle with cancer. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 19 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 S. Blackbob Rd., Olathe, KS, followed by a funeral service on Wednesday, September 20 at 10:00 a.m., also in the chapel of the funeral Home, Interment, Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Olathe. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care, 9291 Ward Parkway, Ste. #100, Kansas City, MO 64114 .
Elayne was born April 26, 1960 in Jersey City, New Jersey to Audrey and Irwin Zuckerman. She graduated from Bayonne High School, and attended Jersey City State College, eventually graduating from Emporia State University in 1998. She moved to the Kansas City area in 1986, working with the F.A.A. as a secretary until 1996. She was most recently employed with Weber Carpet.
She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and spending time with her children.
She is survived by her daughter, Olivia Buda (age 19) of Olathe, KS, her sons Christopher Boucher (age 11) and Nicholas Boucher ( age 6) both of the home, her parents Audrey and Irwin Zuckerman of Woodbridge, N.J., her sisters Helene Johann of Bedminster, N.J., Audrey Lynn Zuckerman also of Woodbridge, N.J., her brothers Robert Zuckerman of Bricktown, N.J., Kevin Zuckerman of Woodbridge, N.J., and Michael Zuckerman of Newcastle, DE, seven nieces and nephews, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
