Elaine (Pickert) Kruse
Elaine (Pickert) Kruse, 67, passed away at her home in Olathe on Thursday, October 6, 2005. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday at St. Boniface Cemetery in Scipio, Kan.
Elaine was born March 13, 1938 in Richmond, Kan. and was the daughter of Fred and Hilda (Hermreck) Pickert. She graduated from Garnett High School in 1955. She married Harold Kruse in 1957. Harold preceded her in death in 2004. Since 1971 she has lived in Olathe, Kan. where she worked as a clerk for the Johnson County courthouse.
Survivors include: sons, David Kruse of Garnett, Kan. and Philip Kruse of Glen Ridge, N.J.; daughters, Karen Forsyth of Olathe and Julie Kruse of Kansas City, MO; seven grandchildren, Erin and Jordan Kruse of Garnett, Kan., Sarah, Katie, and Rebecca Kruse of Glen Ridge, N.J., and Zachary and Mallory Forsyth of Olathe; brothers, Ken Pickert of Grove, Okla, Gerald Pickert of Richmond, Kan. and Leon Pickert of Lawrence, Kan.; and sisters, Rosalie Waner of Lawrence, Kan. and Betty McArdle of Lawrence, Kan.
