Edwina Bradford

EDWINA LOUISE BRADFORD
Age 54, passed away September 7, 2008 in Olathe, KS. A memorial services will be held on Tuesday, September 9 at 7:00 p.m. at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 15315 W 151st, Olathe, KS where the family will receive friends at 6:30 p.m. A second visitation will be held on Friday, September 12 from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at Millers Mortuary in Liberal, Kansas, followed by graveside services on Saturday, September 13 at 10:00 a.m. in the Liberal Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to VITAS Hospice, 600 Holiday Plaza, Suite 200, Matteson, IL 60443.
Edwina was born November 3, 1953 in Liberal, KS to Edwin and Allie Lou (Wooden) Bradford. She graduated from Liberal High School in 1972, and from Fort Hays State University in 1976 with a degree in History. After graduating, she worked for both the Liberal Public Library and Southwest Daily Times.
In 1989, she moved to the Olathe area and was employed with the Olathe School District and Kinko's/Fed Ex until the time of her illness.
While living in Liberal, she was active in Southwest Medical Center as a volunteer, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, serving in many areas.
She is survived by her parents, Edwin and Allie Lou Bradford, her brother Jim (Mary) Bradford, all of Olathe, and brother Merl (Kathy) Bradford of Riverside, MO, and nephews, Corbin, Justin, Kevin and Andrew Bradford, and one niece Emily Bradford. She is also survived by her fiance, Steven French of Kansas City, KS. She was preceded in death by one brother, Allen Bradford.
