Edna Turner

EDNA D. TURNER
78, of Olathe, KS, passed away May 3, 2005 in Good Samaritan Nursing Center. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 6, at 11:00 a.m. in Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 S. Blackbob Rd., Olathe, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service. Interment, Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Stanley, KS. The family suggests remembrances to the American Cancer Society.
Edna was born on February 8, 1927 in Kansas City, MO to Willie and Dortha Hammers. For the past three years, she enjoyed working at the Olathe Goodwill Store. The highlight of her life were her children and grandchildren, all of whom will miss her dearly.
She is survived by her sons Bob Turner and Bill Turner, both of California, and her daughter Becky Niccum, of Olathe, KS, six grandchildren, two great-grand-daughters. Also survived by her brother Norbert Hammers, and sister Jewel Guany, both of California.
