Drake Terry Renberger, 8, of Overland Park, earned his angel wings on Sunday, October 28, 2018, in Overland Park. He was born on February 17, 2010, to Jon and Dionne Renberger.
Drake had a deep and faithful love for God. As a member of College Church of the Nazarene in Olathe, he lived his life as a kind and gentle spirit, always caring for others more than himself. He enjoyed everything about being in the 3rd grade at Oak Park-Carpenter Elementary School in Overland Park and was especially active in Cub Scouts, Pack 3269. He participated in karate, played soccer and basketball, and was playing tennis on a weekly basis. He enjoyed watching YouTube videos and SpongeBob, playing video games, dance parties with Jonni, and making slime with Jessi. He was proud of his numerous achievement awards, Spiderman memorabilia and Royals bobblehead collections, and he had recently begun collecting coins and autographs. Drake had hoped to attend the University of Kansas and then pursue a career as a YouTuber or food taste tester.
Drake is survived by his loving parents, Jon and Dionne Renberger, his sisters Jonni and Jessi, grandparents Terry and Estelle Renberger and Judy Jarnagin, step-grandfather M.D. Jarnagin, uncles Devin Renberger, Nathan Fornelli, and Brian Ungerer, step-uncles Ken Jarnagin and Kyle Jarnagin, aunts Abby Renberger, Kylie Renberger, Michele Renberger, Julie Burns, and Judon Ungerer, and step-aunts Tiffany Jarnagin and Christy Jarnagin.
